Julie Dierker is a second-year MPA candidate at the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. Her areas of focus are non-profits, philanthropy, and social innovation. Prior to the Evans School, she attended Kenyon College where she majored in Art History. Following her graduation in 2018, she entered the nonprofit sector and worked for the Alzheimer’s Association. During her time at the Alzheimer’s Association, she realized that she does her best work when driven by a purpose and her ability to effect positive change in the lives of people around her.
