Erin founded Hedges & Associates in 2002 to bring her unyielding passion for the nonprofit sector to life in the Indianapolis community. Erin leads the Hedges & Associates team with an extreme enthusiasm for turning simple ideas into pathways for creating tangible social change. Erin is considered a trusted thought partner within the nonprofit community, particularly excelling at strategic visioning, cultivating mutually beneficial donor/cause relationships, and helping nonprofit partners think about their “end game.”

Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Butler University, a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, Grant Professional Certification™ from the Grant Professionals Association, and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation from The American College. Erin regularly participates as a grant reviewer for philanthropic institutions such as the Indiana Youth Institute, serves as a Board member for Dove House, which supports women in recovery, and serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Tomberg Family Philanthropies, which provides domestic and international grants in the areas of poverty alleviation, health, education, and the environment. Prior to founding Hedges & Associates, Erin served in program, development, and leadership capacities as a non-profit staff member in Southern California and a capital campaign consultant in Minneapolis.
