State Government Program
 
TThe Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) State Government Program is based on a proven and standardized method that enables procurement officials to ask direct questions of suppliers about their energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, and the risks and opportunities they foresee in a warming planet. The data generated by the program and the analysis provided by CDP will lead to several positive outcomes, including a platform for constructive dialogue between public agencies and their suppliers on climate change, emissions reductions and cost savings realized by suppliers and passed onto State Governments.
